The user navigates to the relevant report page and is then asked to use “point and click” boxes to make their selection of the parameters they want to work with. At each stage the chart changes to reflect the choices made.

Simple charts are used wherever possible together with more complex charts such as that shown (below right) that uses both vertical axes to better show sales on various time scales to best advantage.

On other charts (below) multiple lines are shown using a single axis but with the information partitioned into manageable selectable sections.

Tables are also used in KingPinä systems, They are usually linked to the charts in the system so that data in a chart can easily be viewed and even exported to a separate spreadsheet for further analysis.

Other reports, e.g. comparative indexed market share calculations, lend themselves better to tabular display (below) than charts.

All reports are printable if hard copy is desired.

Systems are updated  by programme controlled spreadsheet using whatever data source is provided, e.g. in-house databases, third party purchased data, etc. and circulated to users on whatever frequency is required, e.g. monthly, weekly.
